Bakka won many fans in Europe with his outstanding performances with Albert Ssempeke and Bernard Kabanda. He has been performing traditional music in Kampala since 1987, and is a skilled Ganda drummer and dancer. He is also composer of Kadongo Kamu songs, as can be heard on his critically acclaimed debut CD with Bernard Kabanda. In Uganda, Bakka performs with leading traditional and pop groups. He teaches in schools, and he organises study tours for visiting researchers and musicians.

"In my struggle for international recognition through music, I appreciate the ups and downs in this field. and not until I die will I drop my talent: I like teaching the public through my compositions and drumming, and all I have achieved has been through music.
